Looking for a compressor (cheap!) Boston area.
Maybe someone going to the Jan 1 HO5G??

I have been having a bad bearing sound coming from my 01 sedan.
I figured it was a TB roller or tensioner.

I just did a TB on it and found that it was the AC clutch/pulley bearing.

The pulley is loose and makes a very unfriendly sound when spun.

need compressor or bearing, or AC clutch kit etc.and help
R&R the AC clutch. When I had
the TB process under way I pulled the compressor.
I can't get the AC clutch off---- I see some people claim it just comes right
off; this one is not willing to separate.

I replaced mine a couple of years ago after the spines ground themselves to bits because of a loose nut. I don't remember whose instructions I followed but here are some pretty detailed ones:

I bought the whole clutch assembly from eBay. It looks like the seller who I bought it from also has his own web site:

The replacement parts looked identical to what I was replacing and have lasted 2 years so far. (though it turned out that I only needed the clutch itself, not the coil nor the pulley). He also emailed me pretty detailed installation instructions.

Thanks for the info and the link. The link indicates that the clutch
just "comes out"----not the case on mine. I have not been able to remove the clutch.
I saw the chillman stuff on ebay. If I were able to get he clutch off I would
get the clutch kit.
