Just replaced rotors and pads on front. Everything went fine. Next day I’m getting this odd feeling like the front of the car is heavy, as though I can’t accelerate as well or that the car needs more power to accelerate as normal.

  • The drag/heaviness is most noticeable in second gear; the car feels heavy in the front end and doesn’t seem to accelerate as easily. I kind of feel it all the time.

  • In neutral car, all stopped, rolls on slight inclines.

  • While coasting in neutral, car feels fine (doesn’t feel like brakes are sticking)

  • No brake smell (fluid burning off, etc).

  • Turbo response is normal.

Is it possible I’m imagining things and feeling something that’s not there?

Could there be another problem such as a bad CV or transmission/clutch/flywheel issue?

What things would you do to determine what my be causing the problem (assuming there is one)?

Air in the lines expands and applies brakes. As the air heats up it press more pressure on the brakes. Don't always smell them until they get hot enough.

Otherwise, it could be the rear and just feel like the front.
