So i know this might be blasphemous but im a junk yard rat
I wanna up grade my alh turbo with north American oem turbos
Injectors i get i will have to look outside america.
My ideas are
Gm 8 turbo 6.5 diesel
Isb 5.9 hx30 i think correct me if im wrong
Ford 6.0 compund turbo thing
I might break the 01m trans.
On the flip side i might have to sell it

I mean it'd be interesting to see, but because those turbos are so large due to the displacement of them, even if you made a way to mount them on, the ALH most likely wouldn't have enough heat output to get any of those turbos to actually spool up. If you really REALLY wanted a turbo from one of the big dogs, you'd be better off with a turbo from an QSB2.3

Whats a qsb2.3 i looked it up it showed me furniture

It's an industrial 4 cylinder Cummins engine.

Even an HY35 has a 9 square cm exhaust turbine housing. Likely about double the VNT15...its compressor wheel is also large, 54mm inducer and 78( I think ) exducer. Fine for a secondary in a set of twins....maybe...LOL

Yall have not seen Roadkill have you. They ran a turbo from a Cummins 7.3 on a stock GM 4.3. I had a IHI from a 2.0 subaru on my 1.2 litre Harley. Im a big fan of junkyard discoveries, and waaay too big turbos! Go with the smallest displacement you can find. How bout like a big volvo? Or hell, just a T3 from a Z car would be funny.

Cummins 7.3? You mean Navistar?
