These 3 glow plugs are located in the coolant outlet union on the cylinder head (outlet for the cylinder head to heater matrix hose)
They add heat to the coolant and reduce engine warm up time.
Does anybody know what the conditions for these glowplugs to operate are?
ie coolant below a certain temp or just for a set time after start up?
Does anybody know how much current these draw?
I know they are a different size to the engine glow plugs but are they the same design or is there a difference so that they can operate in the coolant?
I'm planning a veg oil conversion and just thinking of ways to get the car up to temp as soon as possible.
