My dash came pretty basic with only a hazard and defroster in my Golf. I found a set of dash buttons I could put into my center vent surround (ESP, Defrost, and seat heaters) at the junkyard and want to see if I can use them.
1st question: Anyone have a diagram so you can utilize an extra button to function as say the fog lights/light bar I/O switch? Would like to still keep off/on illumination and just connect to a relay.
2nd question: I saw before for mk6 VW there is a site that sells different covered buttons with different illuminated symbols. I see that you can remove the button face on the mkiv ESP button but is there a way to get different symbols or a way to mod in a new symbol on the button DIY style?
