Thanks Dean, I think the color will look great. Guy took his time on prep, so I'm hopeful.

Getting closer to finishing up w/paint. It's actually a blue color. Pic is not the best. Trying to decide if I should keep OE rear bumper or go with a rear Rollpan.

Thank you sir. I'm thinking about keeping rear bumper. Maybe look on few sites for a small bumper. I'm ready to get it put back together.

I'm surprised with all that work, you stayed with the stock braking set up. Looks good, though.

Anyone have experience or thoughts about the rear bubble window, as far as how much room if any one would gain for the seat with the headrest? or is it not worth it?

I have one, if i had to guess it adds about 2" of seat travel.
Mine is going to come out though..... Its super super foggy. Cant see a thing thru it.

I'm not sure if only 2" warrants the price. Although the pics on samba look good. I looked at where the headrest hits the window in my truck, and if it is allowed to go back a little, its not much room before the back of the seat hits the cab, I only have maybe 1.5" behind mine now as it sits, and it is resting on the rear glass. I wondered if it might get that haze to it.

Got a lil more done. Rear sup is dialed in, Panhard bar centered. Interior is getting done in a nice tweed. No brown burlap. Modified MK2 seats some, headrests and seat backs for little more clearance. Will have to see how much I will actually gain.

I cleaned the trans and block. Took most of the day to clean all the crevices. I sprayed wrinkle black on trans, tore down to block to refresh. Water pump was awful.
