My B8 Passat 240ps remap results

I recently sold my CR170 stage 2 ( dpf delete) Passat for a new 240psBiTDi Passat 4motion. As a performance comparison the BiTDi is noticably quicker than my old CR170 stage 2..( that surprised me a little)

I decided to get it remapped. I first got it dynoed and the result at the crank was 231bhp ( 6bhp short than VW claimed figures but could be due to engine only having 2k on it)

Post remap produced 288.4bhp and 418 lbft at the crank It has made it from a brisk car to a fast car a 57bhp increase with just a remap!

Wow, I'm jealous! Almost 300 hp with just a tune is amazing. Let's see some videos!

Cool beans. Sounds like the 240 biTDI will be a hot commodity in resale for all its bits.

Those parts have always been hard to come by...first because there are so few cars...and second because its the most robust 2 liter from the VW group.

Do you know the ECU type for this car? Did you flash on bench?

Can be done via OBD with the right tools.

OP are you planning any other work to it? Dpf removal etc? or are you sticking with the Stage 1 for the moment?

Might leave as is for now. I was a little surprised to get the result from just a remapp. I used to have a 2.0Tfsi with a k04 300 odd bhp and really is very little difference in performance! This car reminds me of it! The 2 turbo's really keep top end power going. I will also keep the dpf because the car is totally smokeless. One good thing is regenerations are not more frequent than when it was standard.

More fresh air passing by doesnt give room to the DPF store particles

Bitdi stage 2?

Interested to know if anyone on this thread took their Passat bitdi to stage 2?
My 2015 2.0 bitdi has a stage 1 tune and is currently reported on the dyno to be running at just short of 320bhp. Looking to see if anyone has taken theirs to stage 2?

I think you are close to be out of fuel on that pump.

i made remap, cca 620nm 310ps. edc17c74 have 100mg limiter not only tq

We see in january what 140-150mg bring in terms of power with these injectors and bigger pump. Cant wait to see some real 400+ finally after all this waiting and testing.
