Did you use a hairdryer/heat gun to de badge? What about to remove the adhesive without scratching the paint?

I sparingly used a hair dryer. Then I used two dental floss strands twisted together. After that I used goo gone and a micro fiber towel. Once I start my new position and stop commuting, I'll do a crazy detail job.

I like how you made your car very "Euro" like. By that I mean, this is how you would find the typical Golf in Germany. The LED tails with rear fog function, the warning triangle, and other little details you've made to the car. Well done my friend, you have a very tastefully modified car. Nothing super drastic, but this is exactly what I would have done with a mk7 Golf. I'm working on saving for the LED tails for my mk6 golf. Brought home the warning triangle as well for mine while on my last trip to Germany last month.

What does the GTD key fob look like? Could you throw up a picture please?
