I'm looking to buy a Jetta or a Golf, I haven't realy decided yet which one. I'm looking to go as old as I can and still have a clear performance path and I don't want a PD engine.

All that being said, I look here all day on Thursday to see if I could find any Mk2 TDI performance upgrades and I didn't see any here or on any of the vendor links.

Does this mean the Mk2 is out or did I just miss it?

not to many but I'm sure there are some kicking around, alot of the cars on here are more than likley the 99.5 to 2003 for the ALH and 2004 to 2006 for the PD..... for the most part anyways.

MK2's came with TD's not TDI's. If it's a TDI then it's been converted. You're not very likely to find a MK2 TD. They're out there but I've never seen a MK2 Golf TD and Jetta TD's are still rare.
