steel coolant tube to heater core rusted through. new options? source

the steel coolant tube that snakes around the side of the A3 engine and goes to the heater core and fill tank rusted through and is junk( big mess). is this a dealer only item? junk yard? any chance later models have a stainless tube? do the gassers have the same tube?

The cheapest place to buy it new is AutohausAZ. They will list it as applying to a Passat. I verified the PN is the same, using vagcat.com

I have one on order (from another supplier) for less than 1/2 that listed.
I'll not start "bidding wars", but there are lower cost suppliers.
