I’m sure this has been addressed I have an 2002 beetle tdi auto and have an opportunity at a wrecked 06 Jetta tdi with mt will it work for swap in my 02 beetle

I don't think that will work. I think the only auto that will work is the 01M from the ALH TDIS. (1999.5 - 2003)

No the Jetta has a manual transmission Will this work for a swap in my beetle

You will need a manual from an ALH or a BEW. The BRM's won't work.
