how long can I wait?

hello my car (98 Jetta) has started making an odd sound and from reading threw the forms i figure its the bearing, now my question is how long can i wait? because i don't have money for it right away but i will in about 500km, is this ok or should i try to hitch a ride with a freind?

You need to be specific. If so, sometimes, sometimes not.

Main bearing? Waterpump bearing? Relay roller bearing? Alternator bearing? Wheel bearing? Bearing north? Bearing children? Grizzly bearing? Bearing sea? Bearing down? Bearing yourself? Bearing my stupid questions? Bearing gifts?

So I was right. It was the wheel bearing.
