Angry Squirrel + Irma = No Start

I parked my car Sunday morning and sat through Hurricane Irma at work. Monday after the storm, my car would not start. Took a couple of days to find the problem, but it turns out that something (I am blaming squirrels since they were seen fleeing the scene) went to town on my wiring harness. I spliced the harness back together, but still got the same faults through VAG-COM.

Car will turn over, but will not start. The fans come on about 15 to 20 seconds after I turn the key. They run constantly.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I resolved P0090 and P2294 by replacing a blown fuse. It must have popped when I tried to start the car the first time after the chewing incident. P0118 turned out to be a couple of wires that I missed.

Now I am getting TPS fault codes intermittently.

This is turning out to be quite an adventure.

I fixed most of the issues, but now I have an intermittent limp mode issue. Going to look at the codes on VAGCOM tonight when I get home.

The limp mode is not consistent. Sometimes, the car starts and drives normally. CEL is on, but does not appear to affect performance. Other times, the glow plug light will flash and power falls off at about 1900RPM immediately upon starting the car. Today, the car started and the glow plug light was flashing, but went away after a re-start 10 miles down the road. The light came back on about 40 miles later. I re-started the car and it went away, but it came back almost immediately.

When the car goes into limp mode, the A/C compressor kicks out and I got hot air out the vents.

Any ideas?

Update: All fixed

I fixed the problem. It turns out that one of the connections in the main wiring harness had been opened a bit when someone tested it. It was just enough that it would disconnect when the engine bay got warm.

Anyway, I hope these pics help anyone else that may run into a similar issue.
