Welcome to the TDI-Club !!!

I don't know to what thread you're referring but... if you're interested in the A4 timing belt replacement... have you downloaded the 2 PDF files ?? (On a Windows machine, you right-click the link and "save target" onto your hard drive... I don't know how you do this on a Mac...)

http://pics.tdiclub.com/pdf/a4timingbelt.pdf - Drivbiwire's "how-to"
http://pics.tdiclub.com/data/517/5254timing_belt_checklist.pdf - Oldpoopie's checkoff list...

(BTW: in case you didn't know... your 2003 has a 100,000-mile-rated timing belt system...)

All the best,

Yuri.

Oil: one of the best oils for your car is the Shell "Rotella-T" "Full Synthetic" (so-called) 5W-40 from WalMart (Blue jug)... pretty cheap, too... (and good for over 10,000 miles before you need to change...)
