wondering if you guys can help me figure this issue out, cars pumping out a good amount of white smoke. But only while sitting at idle, revving in idle and bringing the car up to speed from a stop. While at normal cruising speed its fine, power seems normal and very little smoke.
things ive done so far.
checked iq was fine at 5
timing is right below the green line
cleaned nozzles (took them apart put them in a sonic cleaner then reassembled)
put in another set of injectors (set i just pulled from my other car that where working)
checked turbo actuator its within spec
The white smoke doesn't smell like coolant, and my coolant level has not changed at all. Im working on getting a compression tester, but its hard to find one in my neck of the pacific.
any recommendations on what it could be? any other methods to trouble shoot?
im guessing maybe a bad piston (hope that's not the case)
