Have an issue with brakes on 05 4th gen Jetta, BEW engine.
Has weak brakes, has been an issue since I've owned it, but in the last month or two has gotten worse.
Put new pads and rotors, didn't help. (old rotors had ~150k on them)
Don't have time to mess with it, so dropped it off at a shop.
Been there 3 weeks... they have replaced the master cylinder, vac pump, and brake booster, and pipe from vac pump to booster.
Still doesn't have much for brakes.
Shop suspects there is air trapped in the ABS. Can't figure how to bleed using the Snap On Solus (with Euro Package)
Anyone know?
I googled it, seems VCDS can do it, so I'd imagine the $3000 Snap On scanner, common in most shops, certainly can.
