Several different models. Selling them back to VW
You do have a pristine car.

Its really a decision I can't make for you.

If you like it, you should probably keep it. You'd be hard pressed to find a comparable unit IMO.

In my case ~~ less than 5,700 miles.
2015 Golf DSG, TDi Tungsten Silver. MSRP $24,895
Paid $20,895 PLUS $500 delivery to Tulsa.
Good will CC = $1,000 minus $100 discount = $900
Cost of unit = $19,995
BB = $25,625
FIX = $7,051 -- with the fix -- gain extra $1,000 'cause no new car TT&L = $8,051
If I do the fix the net cost of the car is-was 'bout $13,000 -- $12,000-ish with no new car TT&L
11 year 162,000 VW warranty, and good to all future owners.
Paid $20895+$500
You forgot to add tax
Have you paid any loan interest? If so, you need to add it too
I suppose, you're closer to @25k with tax and interest.
They are offering you $25625 for the car. But that is ~18.5k car value + $7k restitution.
Restitution amount is already yours whichever option you select, so you only look at $18.5k. That is ~$6.5k less that approximate total price you paid for the car.
Why would you agree to lose $6.5k and this great car with 10yrs warranty?
Keep it.

It is pristine -- and the reason I was-am geeded off about the lack of compensation for "condition" in the settlement, numbers.

... and not to say ---- no one gets a "credit" for being way under the 1,042 miles per month:eek::eek::eek:

Oh well .... By taking the FIX, I have the future use and future value of the low mileage and condition ~~~ least we remember the 11 year, 162,000 VW warranty :D

Keep it ~~ Looking that way more and more.

3 interest months paid ~~~ $120 ?? ~~ Then cleared the note.

Personally do not consider the TT&L 'cause it is paid on all new (and used) cars in Okieville.

... Now only paying insurance, gas, yearly registration. Zero maintenance so far.

.... so far no dings, scratches, etc.
