Hi folks, Ive been driving this car for about a year now but I got another tdi that's a manual so this one needs to go.
2005 Passat TDI
245k miles
Balance shaft delete done
Camshaft / lifters / bearings have 8k miles on them
Auto trans was rebuilt by Erikson Industies (authorized ZF rebuilder) about 12k miles ago
Intake manifold was cleaned same time as cam replacement
Malone stage 1 tune
Trailer hitch installed
Currently sitting on H&R sport springs and B5 S4 Avus wheels
Due for timing belt in about 10k miles (estimate)
Windshield is 2 months old
Genuine Hella headlights are 2 years old
Being that I am a TDI guru, I have taken very good care of this car. 505.01 Fuchs GT1 has been my oil of choice. I also did service this car for 4 years before I bought it off my customer, and he spared no expense maintain this Passat either.
Ive taken this car the the heights of the white mountains, daily commute.... and it never lets me down. Fuel economy is about 33 mpg stop and go traffic, 38-42 mpg if I get a good highway drive in.
Body is an 8/10, rear bumper has some dings, very slight rust bubbles on bottom of fenders, but otherwise excellent shape for its age. Heated seats work great, just take a while to get hot. AC is cold.
