So I asked how to get the broken piece out and got ...nothin.
If it happens to you.
1) Get a thin blade knife and gently pry out the auxiliary unit in the armrest compartment.
2) Use pliers and pull off the cable connector. I use needle nose and chipped a piece but it came off ok in the end.
3) Get you drill and use a 1/8 " bit and drill carefully, but not all the gently and you will see shavings and then if your lucky it will push thru. JSutr enough to think a new jack may insert.
4) test with new 3.5mm auxiliary juice and if it "snaps in" your good.
5) I didn't know so I reconnected the cable and tested before snapping it back into the arm rest compartment.
I'd be curious to know what the connector is worth. Cause I was happy when I got it apart and was just going to get a new one at the dealer. Thats when I got the drill out. Nothing to lose. I love a winner.
