Smug

While listening to a news report on the "suffering" suv drivers, I couldn't help but feel a bit smug, knowing I get double even triple the mileage the gassers get!

Yeah, it is kinda funny. But in the ultimate instance of irony, I bought an older Jetta not running about 500 miles away from me. I used a friend's Dodge Ram to go pick it up! Sheesh it cost me $250 in gas just to drive 1000 miles! YIKES!!! Good thing it was just for that and not a daily driver. For the life of me I cannot figure out how or why people choose to drive something like that every day. And quite frankly I thought the 5.9L V8 in this Dodge was quite sluggish and had to constantly downshift on the hills just pulling a little Jetta on a car dolly!
