Help on Wednesday needed for the Jetta gasser post x-c journey

Yesterday was a good day of driving as we completed the last leg of the x-c journey. Now that the 96 Jetta is in my hands I took a peek under the hood this AM to see what was going on in there, and I think that it needs a more expert glance than I am able to give it.

It looks like we shall be returning to NH on Wednesday, and, if possible, I would love to have some help looking at the car. I already know that I would like access to a power bleeder as I don't think that the brakes have ever been blead in the whole 150K life of the car. Plus it looks all strange under that hood around the engine block -- funny distributor like thing in there and sparky things.

I'm so tired, I didn't even think about the possible innuendo. Sorry Rachel.

Sounds like my kidnapping might be longer than expected, and I don't really know when we will be leavnig Maine. However, I think that I can get away with changing the oil up here at least.

Where in Maine are you? I have heard of an 'okay' tech in the Richmond area. :D I am in the Mid-Coast area, but don't yet have a Motive Bleeder. :(

Thank you to P&J for helping out another A3 Jetta. Mike's clone car that runs the gas is much happier today with its new distributor and firmer brakes.

Only the best TDIers will still lend a hand to those who have yet to see the light.
