Help: 2015 TDI Passat Change Oil Light - Service Reset Not Working

I have a 2015 Passat TDI SE with DSG. I serviced it myself like usual, but after performing the Oil Life Reset and Service/Inspection Reset procedures (Oil: Hold the trip reset while turning the key to the on position; Service/Inspection: Same as the Oil Reset except with the flashers on), the dash light and notification comes on every time I turn on the ignition stating to change oil now. In the MFI, under service, it shows miles and days since last reset, like they are not working.

check your oil level, you weren't the first person to have this issue
