Hi - I'm looking for suggestions on a double din replacement for my monsoon stereo in my MKIV Golf TDI (2002). I don't know much about car stereos, but I would like something that can take a large-capacity SD card full of MP3's that has a low-latency folder/playlist navigation system & the ability to remember where it was in a random shuffle or within a folder/song between power off/on. GPS & bluetooth would be nice. I don't care about being able to play movies at all. It doesn't need to be double din, but if I end up with GPS functionality, it might be nice. It doesn't need to have the best sound quality, but it should sound at least as "good" as the monsoon. I'm looking to spend around $500 or less.
I think that the Pyle PLDNV78i would be ideal, if it would fit, works well and doesn't sound like crap. Does anyone know?
Or any other suggestions?
