Thinking about having a manual swap done..

So my 01 jetta auto is having transmission problems at 160,000...so I'm thinking of having a manual swap done. I need to find a shop that does it in southeastern indiana or cincinnati. What is a decent price I should expect to pay for this?

Also, any thoughts from people that have already done this? Are you happy with it?

Labor runs $1500 for most shops. Parts...depends $800-2000 depending on miles and the number of new items fitted.
