Hey

Has anybody messed around with the engine in the 2014 tdi's? I dont know much about the 2.0 L and I cant really find anything on the net as far as injector nozzels, chips, or turbos upgrades.

Can anybody help me out?

Sorry if this is a repost i search the forums for a thread on this but i couldnt find much.

Thank Cody

start with a tune, but VW will detect it and give trouble with your warranty if the check engine light ever comes on. I have a buddy fighting that fight with his 2013 GTI right now

There are no nozzles for these engines. There are several companies that offer tunes. Malone, APR, Unitronic, Revo, Rocketchip. Malone has the most options.

You can do the cr170 turbo upgrade or go to darkside developments and look at their turbo kits if you want more than 200hp/350tq

Rawtek, Diesel Dubs, Buzzken and Darkside Developments all make exhausts.

Best bet for a tune is Malone as he is a diesel guy. APR, Revo and Unitronics have diesel tunes, but are principally gasser specialists.

I was trying to not be biased and inform him of all his options. He's probably the biggest name here because his tunes support emissions deletes.

^^^ a lot depends on how you drive it....of course we don't know what trans you have? Stg2 is what I would choose. The overall drivability is vastly improved.

Malone VS APR

Go Stage 2 I have an APR stage 1 and am switching to Malone Stage 2 on Wed. Too much DPF regenerations on all the Tunes that don't offer the option of a DPF delete. Maybe someone with a Malone Econo tune or a stage 1 could elaborate mor on this.
The APR tune would have rocked if they offered the DPF delete because during the regeneration cycle the cars are sputtering like they are not getting enough fuel.
