Aren't subbies known to eat head gaskets faster than a clutch? Wait, they eat clutches too. Ok, aren't subbies known to eat head gaskets and clutches?

Them are 2 pricey repairs... but their exhaust notes sound good.

$40k...$US for a Golf-R.. ouch.

Don't know about the clutches-I know the 2.5's had head gasket problems,not the 2.0 turbo motors-I don't need to worry about it,I can't afford either one;)......

IDK my Subaru has 255k miles on it, original clutch and original head gasket.

2010+, HG issues are supposedly resolved, by using the turbo block design, which didn't suffer the same malady as the NAs- IIRC.
