Great article Thu!! thanks for sharing. My husband and I drove the Toyota hybrid (Prius) and the Honda hybrid (Insite) and was not impressed with either. The Toyota had no extras, you couldn't even put the back seats down, it had NO pickup, no Cd player, ect.
The Honda was so small, and it had the biggest blind spot when looking to change lanes to the right, it was unbelievable. I don't think I could drive that care comfortably.
A good mix is a deisel hybrid, and they do mention it in that article.

Thanks again for sharing.

Not at all! The ideal would be Hybrid & Diesel together.

I saw my first Insight at an autocross. I beat it handly and even turned in the same mpg while we were there. Haaa! Didn't see him the next month.

Less power
Less utitlity
Average econonomy next to diesel
Same cost or more

Better for the enviroment? A little.
