If it's just an engine, then it should be pretty easy.
Are you picking it up yourself in Canada and bringing it across the border, or having someone ship it?
If someone is shipping it, then it's up to them to fill out a waybill and customs declaration (the carrier usually would provide this) and when you receive it you may have to pay taxes and duties on your end.
