I'm about to be a new owner of a 2015 Golf TDI with 66K km on it. I did the VCDS direct throttle and shutter vibration hacks... Looking for a little more umph.

Because of the low mileage, and the generous Dieselgate PowerTrain and emissions warranty, I do not want to go with a Malone tune at this time. Don't get me wrong, I currently have 2 Malone tuned TDI's and they both are great.

With the car I bought, it had an inservice date of December 2015, meaning I have warranty up to December 2026 or 261K km...

I'd like to keep that intact for now.

If I get a tuning box, are there parameters I should monitor with a torque app or similiar while driving to make sure everything stays 'safe' - I've heard possibly EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature)

There look to be options that connect to the fuel rail, or the fuel rail and MAP...

Any ideas?
