Bumping eng for cam photos

What is the best way to bump the eng and not have it start so I can rotate the cam for better pictures? thx

12 point socket on the crank shaft........................ only turn the crank clockwise.

Easiest way is to just pull the big plug on the driver side of the cylinder head. The will prevent the injectors from opening.

Then you can just turn the key to turn the engine over a bit a a time.

Or you can turn it from the cam..18mm. or from the acc belt..

Or already stated, from the wheel, or the crank

Make sure you don't turn the engine backwards. you could jump timing. Turning from the cam probably should be avoided as well. Might damage the timing belt.
