Couldn't find any info on this so here it is...

I just picked up some Hepu G12+ coolant. Anyone tried it? I'm replacing my coolant temp sensor and went to the local repair shop to get some coolant (I know I will lose a little during the repair). All they stock is G12+. The shop told me I can Mix G12+ (purple) with the older pink OR older green coolant...

FYI they charged me $10 for the 1.5 litre bottle.

Yes it is but do not mix with green. It may be compatible but the look would be so murky, it would muddy looking. I understand you not wanting to waste money so topping off till you do a timing belt and coolant pump would be cost efficent. At that Time you can get a whole gallon from ECS for 20 USD.

Thanks guys, right now I have the pink stuff. Hopefully I won't have to add more than a pint or so.

G12+ is compatable with G12 and G11 :)
Change "and" to (exclusive) "or". Mixing G12+ with G12 and G11 in the same car is a no-no, since G12 and G11 are not supposed to be mixed. G12+ mixed with either G12 or G11 is ok.

If the coolant is purple, use only G12+, since you don't know if it has only G12+ or has G12 or G11 mixed in it.
