i just bought an upper strut bar, and i'll be installing it this coming weekend.
i'm still on the fence about whether to use the nutserts, or buy nuts-n-bolts.
my question is, how do these nutserts work?
once i drill the holes, will the nutserts "crush" into place (using the supplied installation tool?)
and if so, what prevents them from spinning freely while i try to torque the bolts?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">"Nutserts" are just like the "rivnuts" for the skidplates. They are basically a special type of rivet with threads down the middle. I have installed a strut bar before with them, and they worked fine. Just be careful measuring and drilling (I like to use a center punch to dimple where I am drilling first) then follow the directions, you'll be fine. They are very strong, and I never had any issues with mine at all.
