I have a 2004 VW Jetta TDI and both of my license plate lights are out. I replaced a bulb once before and it went bad very quickly. When changing it the second time around I turned the lights on just to test them while I had it hanging. It worked! I (foolishly) decided to leave them on as I put the fixture back into the housing and seem to have shorted them out (both lights went dead immediately when I stuck the fixture in the housing). The housing is fairly corroded and the screw is completely rusted.
The easy solution to me would be to just replace both fixtures and screws. The problem is that I can't seem to find any new ones. I found a couple places selling used ones, but they look like they're in about the same shape as mine (see https://www.wolfautoparts.com/2004-...Ami79IsDlKZAfv7yTtwx-rkPmJxGP_rRoCrNYQAvD_BwE).
I also get some results for similar looking fixtures, but with a different connection (see https://www.walmart.com/ip/Areyours...7500&wl11=online&wl12=312548939&wl13=&veh=sem).
Does anyone know where I can find a new set of these fixtures (and screws)?
