ALH TDi into 93 Fox; Doable?

I can't really afford the new TDi car that I want right now. My Fox has @ 135K and runs ok. Could a TDi swap be performed? I would love to hear all/any positive and negative issues related to this.

I had an 88 fox wagon, and the engine was longitudinal, not sideways like my 98 jetta. It may be tough. I kinda miss my fox. I sold it with 175k and it still got 30mpg, same as at 7k when I bought it. I would leave it be until in breaks. You probably have a lot time to think about it.

Too many problems with space on the right side for the turbo and also the radiator location,starter in the way of the turbo,not recommended

For wat a swap will cost you can buy a used Passat. about $4900 to $5500.
