Have a 06 jetta dsg trans has been well matained by dealer.Driving it the other day got on it a 5mph and the rod went through the side of the block. Rod broke at just below the ristpin and the tb isnt broke or out of time so i think? Any reason why this may of happened?

Your pretty close to me. Where is the car at? What dealer did the maintenance? What cylinder did this happen to? Have you had any recent maintenance done?
