Clutch Upgrades...

Was looking through a clutch manufacturer website, Spec Clutches, and found that they have clutches for TDI engine VW's. It lists both a 220mm Luk size OEM clutch replacement and a 228mm Sachs size OEM clutch replacement. The holding capacity of Stage 1 is 330 torque where as stage 4 is 460. Not sure if this is ft-lbs but I would assume so. Anyone have any thoughts, experiences, advice on these systems?

Go to the Upgrade(Not TDI Engine)Section. Look back a few threads for "Confirmed DMF" thread by BongoBrains. He and another individual VWDisciple have done the upgrades. BongoBrains went with the Stage 1 Organic set up. VWDisciple went with the Stage 2 Kevlar set up. They both seem very happy with their respective set ups. I am following their thread to see how things are doing. No news is good news with them, and it seems to be so far so good.
