vw afn white smoke issue vcds guru wanted

vw passat 1999 afn 110 hp engine uk
hopefully somone will help on this one
issue ...white smoke at idle and if it ticks over for a couple of mins....then throttle is blipped a cloud of it appears white ..
does this with turbo pipe removed as well

checked timing i think vcds lite group 4 idle 5.5degrees btdc so i dont think its timing
vcds at tickover group 1 861rpm 4.2mgstr 1.6v..79 degrees
group 8 861 rpm 0 mgstr 30.6mgstr 24.3 mgstr
this group 8 readings seem very odd all change when revved up....
if i can figure a way to post pics on her e i will show u ..
also just gave about 3/4 litre of water spray down inlet to try and clear and crud out
anyone help me in this one

Measuring blocks, group 0, hit go, select basic settings then hit the tdi timing button, you should get a graph come up. There's a drop down menu to select your engine, see where the timing is on that, it should be between the middle and blue lines. Somewhere around 65/120 or so.

It does sound like it could be a fuel problem, other one could maybe be the turbo dumping oil into the exhaust.

does it with turbo pipe removed i am using vcds lite ....so not too many options
its this group 8 figs thats puzzling

ah question does anyone know at tickover what volume should be coming from the injectors in a leak off test
