Default Ariel Atom TDI conversion

Does anyone else want to put a TDI engine in an Ariel Atom, or is it just me?

With all the adapters and ease of wiring/tuning available now, what sub 4000 lbs gasser vehicle wouldn't be much cooler with a tdi swap?

Can we credit the British military with starting this trend with their land rovers? The British motors were so unreliable they used the tdi motors. (Australia also used rovers in military vehicles but ditched the British motors for izuzu diesels)

Have seen some chassis similar to Atom that I like better though.

Would like to see one done though...

Have you seen a Midlana?

I've been kicking around building one for a while, but can't justify it for a "that's neat" sort of car, and don't have any real racing aspirations.

I like this one from Dove a lot, it's their first version of the Rocket.

There are a lot of companies developing these, Dove Racing here has several models.

Also this is a short list of some other kit makers like Ariel and Dove
