Golf mk3 gauge cluster backlight

So I want to modify my gauge cluster so it's lit from behind. Are there any cheap "see trough" these plastic disk things so light from behind will come trough numbers etc. I searched web and didn't find anything suitable so tought maybe anyone here knows if there even is anything like that for sale.

Scrap yard and pull an mk4 cluster as donor parts, those are lit from behind. If you are trying to completely change the cluster look, I have seen diy's on swapping the mk4 cluster into an mk3 dash
