Hello,
Just noticed that transaxle looks like its missing a bolt, see pic, looking from passenger to drivers side.

This is an 2006 Jetta TDI 5 speed.
I see the bolt hole is threaded, not shure if helping to hold the cover, or a mounting location.
I think I would have noticed it missing before and shure looks shiny.

98 Jetta TDI AHU 1.9L (944 TDI swap in progress) I moved so now i got nothing but an AHU in a garage on a pallet.
thats a mounting point when they make the cars at the factory, the machine that holds the assembly uses this hole, nothing more!, JK i have no clue, surprising that its not missing anything and is that clean!

Yep, that clean threw me off, the car has 225k miles and drips oil out of the back of the engine, so usually nothing is squeaky clean
