what client in portugal have used a 14mm dssr head?

i've given up the idea of the gt28 and will try the gtb2260vklr with the a 71mm gtx compressor wheel.

i think it will be a lot better in all available rpm

That's a silly hybrid! You will have surge problems at low end, turbine will choke before you are able to use the extra compressor capability and you will load the thrust bearing more

so in your opinion, what would be a good compressor wheel to apply?

i want a turbo to hold on 2/2.2 bar "safely" it a good mix of flow of air(oxygen as much as i can get) vs temperature

For 2.2bar gtb2260vk f series with exhaust ar 0.74
Best turbo for 1.9 & 2.0tdi & daily driving

Ball bearing GTB3576KLNRV is prob best option for large VNT.

...until large frame GTD turbos get released (bigger than even GTD2060vz) :)

I would like to see that turbo in action, I think that up to 4000 RPM this dead! Even with +160 nozzles!

I have injectors for approximately 430hp, and I can assure you that that turbo in my 3.0 up to the 3000 is dead

You sir are wrong. As usual. That turbo can light up way faster than the engine can breathe in. With 1.9 8v engine. 2.7bar emp with 3.2bar boost at 5000rpm. What woud those numbers be with one of your small frame hybrids?

I think that this video was posted to show that it survives high RPM without issue not more!

I made the tune of this car and it's still runing with the break-in tune with only 1bar and low fuel as it was intended for break-in period only.

it IS very slow. And the matter discussed is more about bigger nozlles and +11mm pump heads. 12 and 0.280 is done since years already..
I m french.. but guys, this is pointless ^^

What he was probably talking about was high rpm at high IQ with large nozzles - since high performance is what you want a large pump head for, really, and it's where others have problems. This is why people are asking, as you should know :)

Hope you'll have a video with high rpm AND high performance, as well!

Regards

in the dssr boutique says that 12.5mm head only can do 4000 rpm and 14mm 3500 rpm. you guys are just testing them to see the limits for what rpm it 'll break?

thanks for effort, but not really anything new there.

You should do that 5.7k rpm with 14mm pumphead, not 12/12.5mm!

12mm everyone knows can do decent rpm, nothing new to see there except pokey 12mm...;)

Any news of DSS r pump heads ? Are the 12.5 mm give more fuel than a OEM 12mm head and still survive high rpm

Why do you want to play with pumpheads? Stock 11mm pump is good for 99% high power builds. I know that Milans car need pump with bigger head but there is no many VP car near 400bhp with diesel only.
