I have a G60 flywheel and need to know if I need a VR6 MK4 or MK3 kit.

I think they are the same part number but want to make sure.

Your help is needed ASAP

Thanks

Excuse me gents - but what, pray tell, will this special combo of parts be going into? ...and can you share any juicy details on the need for the uprated clamping?

Hey Burchell, I just picked up a G60 FW too. Let me know where you get the clutch and I'll get mine there too. Maybe we can save a few bucks. Just an idea... :)

Mine was put in today. No rattle, just an effortless, weightless pedal, and very grabby. Reminds me of my A2 GTI Race car : )

The retail on a VR clutch kit is about $380+ TAX. The TDI kit is around $1000 for the kit with the dual mass set up.

I am very happy with the feel so far. I also replaced the clucth slave cylinder and clutch master cylinder.

Before the clutch starting acting up, it was working awesome. But all of a sudden the cylinders starting letting go: leaking, and the pedal became sticky. I expect there was too much heat down there and then the meyham started :) . I was able to drive no problem for a bit.

Thanks

Andrew
