393K on my '03. And very excited to be picking up my '15 TDI sportwagen tomorrow with 3,800. :-) The '03 will continue to be my daily driver.

You know I'm on the level because my bubble's in the middle.

145k miles on 2011. 4th AC compressor. Lost count of headlight bulbs, but at least 20!! Replaced cooling fans, which rubbed a hole in the radiator, which the dealer replaced after going through dealership GM. Wife still loves it and we plan to keep it for the foreseeable future. Finally got the wife convinced that a Porsche Cayman is not a suitable replacement for her 130 mile commute.

96k miles on my 2004 Altea BKD w/DSG. AC compressor locked up and snapped the compressor belt, turbo turbine got foreign object damaged somehow and core swapped, front brake pads swapped once, countless low beam and brake bulbs swapped, still going über strong, pulling like crazy at 1500 rpm. DSG has been flawless throughout, touch wood.
I get high 40s MPG on highways, cruising at 100-120 kph. Couldn't notice any increase in oil usage.

Hello all

Hope I get this post right. Only have 1,358 miles on the car, and going to mom's house (possibly) today. Last trip over, got 57.2 MPG (according to the dash info). Was driving slow (55-65), but had horrible cross wind coming and going.

The car is a 2015 VW Golf Diesel with AUTO Tran

57 mpg (MFI) would be close to 54 calc'd on my JSW TDI 6M................

Really impressive fuel efficiency for a brand new engine.

Co-incidentally, circa 54 was my all time best hwy mpg (also 60-65 mph)

season's best,

I have a whopping 4000k on my 2015 GSW TDI I bought back in August. I have spent a whole $204 on fuel since owning it, sure as hell would not have been able to do that with my old Focus.

I'm about to turn 14000 miles on 15 gsw 6mt, I normally put in 24k-30k per year and every car I've had in the last decade starts to give me problems between 90-110k.

When I say problems I mean things that will cost $2000-$3000 to fix. In all cases, these repairs have "popped"'up after the extended warranty has expired.

I'm certainly not a "rough" driver and 65%-75% of my driving is highway. I change the oil an follow manufacturers recommended maintenance schedules, I'd really like to get 200k out of a vehicle without having to open my wallet for a major repair....
