Keyless Remote

Can anyone tell me where I can get the keyless remote for a 2001 NB. I know that they have to be reprogrammed but are these remotes generic for VW as far as working physically in Jetta, Golf, NB, Passat, once they are reprogrammed? Are they specific to year?

There are a couple up for sale right now and blank key blades also. Someone with a Vag-Com can help get it reprogramed.

They are "Immobilizer Type" specific.
