I know nothing about specific models, but VW usually releases new models in the August/September months.

Sorry to bump this thread, but does anyone know yet?

I'm holding off a new car purchase until I test drive one. I'm either buying a new 2012 Jetta TDI or a Jetta GLI.

Unfortunately the best place for release dates of VW products is likely vwvortex.com. The main news page should have something if you're willing to dig.
