Camber Adjustment

Hi all,

I have my TDI quite lowered (top of front tires are about even with the wheel arch.) I know, I know, too low for a TDI. I didn’t intend to go this low but for the record the Eibach sportline lowering springs are LOW. I’m just gonna run ‘em for now because the car handles great.

Problem is, I have too much camber now. My car came with some no-name camber bolts pre-installed that seemed fine, but according to my alignment tech, I can’t get any closer to stock camber than the maximum adjustment the bolts will allow. Right now I am sitting pretty at -2.3° left and -3.45° right, which is just a bit too “slanty boy” for my tastes and driving style.

Does anyone have any recommendations for getting the car a bit closer to -1° or even -2°?

I’ve heard of using thinner bolts to get more adjustment- if anyone knows what size and grade to get that is safe for the intended use, let me know.
