Does the mk4 golf tdi have an O2 sensor because I wanna take my cat out but don't wanna have to worry about emissions or inspection. Any input is appreciated!!

The MKIVs have an O2 sensor by the Catalytic converter. It is used for positioning the EGR valve.

Not sufficient to know "Mk4" ... need to know which engine, P-D or rotary pump (VE).
The rotary-pump engines (model year 2003 and before) have no oxygen sensor.
The P-D engines (model year 2004 - 2006) have an oxygen sensor.
