New 2006.5 Jetta TDI DSG

2007 Jetta TDI
Bought a new 2006 Jetta TDI with the 6 speed DSG. First tank I drove 780kms which was 44 mpg. Just filled up the second tank and went 860kms which was 47.5 mpg. I do alot of city driving which I would say about 70% city and 30% highway, and can't say enough about the awsome mileage this car gets.

That is great. Are you doing any manual shifting?

If you are getting between 37 and 40 mpg US with 70% city you are doing very well.

thats good! it will get better with the warmer weather and the summer fuel[when it gets here!] last tank on my 06.5 dsg was 915km light came on. mostly hwy,nice weather.ill get a 1000km yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D
