Trouble with Weathertech rain guards...

So I installed the rain guards on my 2012 4dr Golf today. The rear windows are fine. The front windows at the B pillar keep touching the plastic, causing the windows to automatically come down as soon as they hit it. It seems that the plastic at this portion of the window does not flare out enough to clear the window.

Anyone else have/had this issue? I'll try and adjust again in the AM and see if I actually did it wrong.

I had them in my '99 and didn't have this problem.

I had to raise the window slowly and push the guard out of the way the first time. Watch your fingers with this method. Once seated and after a few attempts, all works fine.

doesn't the pinch protection feature have a "learning mode"?

It will take a few days for them to seat. patience!
