weird hesitation/vibration when accelerating

Hello guys
I browsed different threads but couldn't find any answers.

Basically it happened twice. First it was a few days ago when I was slowly accelerating on a highway and reaching around 110km/h, it felt like I was on gravel road all of a sudden with the vibration and hesitation.
Then it happened again today while I tried to pass a slower car I accelerated to change lanes and the engine felt like it was bogging down to a point where I had to get back in my lane so I don't hit oncoming traffic. It was a very unsettling feeling. I don't think it's any joints/suspension but felt like either the dsg transmission or the engine/turbo...
Any thoughts?

How many miles? When were the fuel and air filters last replaced? Sounds like a fueling issue, maybe dirty injectors or not enough flow to supply the high pressure injection demands for higher speed.

What fuel do you normally run?

sorry for the late answer. so it's now at 101,000km. When I went to the dealer and they checked everything but the fuel filter was black so had to be changed.
Even after changing it persists, I run regular clean diesel (Canada)
